The brass turret covers the MR16 lamp from above and allows light to exit primarily through the two side openings. This helps reduce direct lamp visibility and unnecessary upward spill while keeping the lighting effect concentrated closer to the surrounding ground and landscape edges.

The MALORY MLR-G06 Two-Direction Turret Well Light is designed to provide controlled ground-level illumination in two opposite directions while keeping the fixture discreet below grade. Its die-cast brass turret top shields the MR16 lamp from above and directs light through two side openings, helping reduce direct glare and unnecessary upward spill.
Ideal for pathways, driveway edges, patios, planting-bed borders, and other landscape areas where light is needed in two directions from a single recessed fixture. The G06 is especially useful for creating subtle guidance and accent lighting along edges and circulation areas.
Built with a durable brass top and PVC burial housing, the fixture is rated IP65 for outdoor use and operates on 9–17V AC/DC low-voltage systems. The replaceable GU5.3 MR16 lamp allows flexibility in wattage, color temperature, and beam angle.

How to Choose a Suitable Transformer
Low voltage lighting systems require the use of a transformer to reduce the standard 120 volt power from ordinary household electricity to 12,13,14,and 15 volt needed to power low voltage fixtures.
The total wattage of all fixtures connected to one transformer must not exceed the wattage capacity of the transformer.
To determine the size of transformer needed in a low voltage lighting system, add up the wattage of all fixtures in system and then add 10% for low voltage cable and fixtures connections.
If the total load offixtures is too greateither divide the total load between 2 transformers or use a more powerful transformer.
Select a transformer with 20% higher capacity than total wattage of all fixtures in system, that allow you to add more fixtures later.
